This policy describes how Olivia Zhang ("I", "me") handles information in connection with olivianyzhang.com and the apps and tools I build and publish from it (together, the "Services"), including any Service that connects to your Google account.
Information I collect
I only collect what a Service needs to work:
- Google account information. If you sign in with Google, the Service receives the basic profile information you approve on Google's consent screen, such as your name, email address, and profile picture.
- Google user data you authorize. If a Service asks for access to data in your Google account, it accesses only the specific data covered by the permissions (scopes) you grant, and only to provide the feature you are using.
- Technical information. The hosting provider may log standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and reliability.
How I use information
- To provide and operate the features you request.
- To keep the Services secure and fix problems.
I do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or use it to build profiles about you.
Google API Services
The Services' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
- Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing features that are visible and prominent in the Service.
- Google user data is not transferred to others except as needed to provide those features, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.
- Google user data is not used for advertising, and is not sold.
- No human reads Google user data unless you give explicit permission, it is needed for security purposes or to comply with law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
- Google user data is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
Sharing
I share information only with service providers that help run the Services (for example, hosting and cloud infrastructure providers such as Vercel and Google Cloud), when required by law, or with your consent.
Storage and retention
Information is kept only as long as needed to provide the Services. You can stop a Service's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Once access is revoked, or when you ask me to, I delete the data I stored from your account.
Security
I use reasonable measures, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, I will update it on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
